Teacher’s Training Courses

Although less acknowledged, the importance of a good teacher is tremendous in India as they play a major role in developing the overall personality of the students. These training institutes offer various courses in teacher’s training courses that may include Basic training certificate (BTC) junior basic Training (JBT), Diploma in Education (D.Ed) Primary teacher training (PTT), Bachelor in Education (B.Ed) and many other teacher’s training courses. The minimum eligibility criterion for getting admissions in these courses is to pass 12th standard with at least 50% aggregate for Pre-primary and Primary school teachers, whereas to join a Secondary and Senior Secondary Teacher Training course expects a candidate to have a post graduate degree in the subject that they wish to teach. Apart from this qualification, personal aptitude and skills also count for becoming a preferred candidate. The curriculum of these courses is appropriately designed considering the current needs of teaching profession that includes the latest methods and trends of teaching that enables teachers to match the required standard of the school and the students. It will include theory as well as practical subjects such as Child Psychology, School Organization, Teaching methods & aids, health & nutrition, etc. And the subjects will include English, Hindi, Math, and EVS.
